First, use the side with the plastic tips to disentangle the hair. Brush the ends of the hairs and work towards the skin. Then brush with the other side to remove dust, dirt and loose hairs. Clean the brush regularly using water and an antiseptic solution such as Dettol or Barbicide, in order to prevent bacterial growth; then let it dry.
